doctor Theo Buzea stands in profile at his optometrist clinic in calgary

HELLO THERE!

My name is Theo Buzea and I am an Optometrist in Calgary, Alberta.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. I am passionate about all of Optometry, but have a technical focus in ocular disease and myopia control.

During my training I was fortunate enough to work side-by-side with highly specialized Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. It was in these positions I refined my knowledge in ocular disease, pediatrics, binocular vision, cornea, contact lenses, myopia control, and ocular disease.

I believe in keeping the eye exam cost in Calgary affordable for patients and including important scans such as 3D OCT scans and retinal photos with every eye exam. I strive to always offer walk-in eye exam availability for patients in need and to be the best Optometrist I can be. My goal is to put together a team with the top Optometrists in Calgary. Educating patients on the importance of prescription glasses, contact lenses, myopia control, and unique scenarios encountered in emergency eye exam visits. is essential. I can help you with any eye care needs from a comprehensive eye exam all the way to urgent scenarios involving red eye, blurry vision, eye pain, and more.
